Who We Are The Prana Calendar app is offered by the Chakra Institute (Sri Centre International), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the teachings of Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar in the traditions of InnerTuning™, Microchakra Psychology™, Svar Yoga, and Nada Yoga. What Information We Collect:
Information stored only on your device The following information is stored locally in your browser or phone and is never sent to us or any server:
- Your nostril tracking logs (correct/incorrect, daily results)
- Your Chilla tracking history
- Your chakra quiz results
- Your location (used only to calculate local sunrise time)
- Your date preferences and app settings
- Mantra unlock codes you have entered
This data lives only on your device. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, it is permanently deleted.
Information you choose to share with us
- Email address — if you request your quiz results by email or sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. Quiz results are sent once via our email service (EmailJS). Newsletter signups are managed through Constant Contact.
- Referral codes — if you participate in our referral program, your email address is used to generate and track your referral code.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your name unless you choose to provide it
- We do not collect payment information (all purchases are handled through our external store)
- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes
How We Use Your Information
- To send you your chakra quiz results by email (one-time, if requested)
- To add you to our newsletter list (only if you sign up)
- To notify us when a referral code has been used (so we can send you a free mantra)

- A chakra assessment and mantra recommendation tool
- Educational content about InnerTuning™, Microchakra Psychology™, Svar Yoga, and related traditions
- Tithi, Nakshatra, and Nitya information based on Vedic and Tantric traditions
- Guided mantra audio recordings by Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar
Educational Purpose — Not Medical Advice The Prana Calendar app and all associated content are offered for educational, inspirational, and spiritual purposes in the living traditions of Tantra, Microchakra Psychology™, InnerTuning™, Svar Yoga, and Nada Yoga. This app is not a substitute for medical or mental health care. The nostril tracking practice, chakra assessment, and mantra recommendations are spiritual and educational tools, not medical diagnoses or treatments. Age Requirement You must be 18 years of age or older to use this app, particularly to take the chakra assessment.
Mantra Purchases Mantra recordings purchased through the app are for personal use only. They may not be redistributed, shared, resold, or used for commercial purposes. Access is granted through individual unlock codes which are non-transferable.

Limitation of Liability The Chakra Institute shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use this app, including but not limited to decisions made based on the nostril calendar, chakra assessment results, or mantra recommendations.
