The presiding archetype of the second chakra is Hanuman. This form embodies the qualities of ardent devotion and absolute fearlessness. Hanuman is also known as Bajaranga Bali (the one with the strength of a thunderbolt).

He is often depicted as flying across the ocean, which signifies transcendence of the water element--the element of the second chakra. This flight is enabled from an abundance of the air element--due to his absolute love for the Divine. This powerful connection between the second and fourth chakra enables him to accomplish spectacular feats.

Blockages to the microchakras of the second chakra are the basis of fear, which restricts our ability to be generous and loving. Repetition of the mantra Bajaranga Bali strengthens the connections between the second and the fourth chakras.
