Participant Agreement & Release of Liability

If at any time you decide not to continue, or to discontinue any portion of the protocol, that is COMPLETELY ACCEPTABLE — please trust yourself and make healthy and wise decisions for yourself. 

The Chakra Institute is an educational nonprofit organization. It does not provide therapy, counseling, psychological treatment, medical care, or any licensed professional services. Nothing offered through the Institute — including this workshop — constitutes or should be construed as the practice of psychology, psychotherapy, medicine, nutrition, or any other licensed profession. Participation does not create a clinical, therapeutic, or professional relationship of any kind. 

1. Nature of This Workshop

 The Purification is an educational and spiritually-oriented workshop offered through Sri Centre International d.b.a. Chakra Institute (the "Institute"). This purification protocol was developed by Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar, founder of the Chakra Institute. The Microchakra Psychology system is a framework rooted in Vedic and Tantric philosophy, encompassing the Nadis, Doshas, and Chakras as applied to individual human experience. This workshop is educational and spiritual in nature. It is not treatment of any kind — clinical, psychological, medical, or otherwise — and makes no claim to treat, diagnose, or assess any condition. No therapeutic or clinical relationship is formed through participation. When this teaching addresses dimensions of human experience such as fear, relational patterns, or behavioral tendencies, it does so entirely within the Vedic and Tantric framework. There is NOT research on this process. Microchakra Psychology is NOT a well-accepted or proven theory in psychology. It would be considered an alternative, adjunctive, or "emerging" theory at best. In Purification we are approaching human experience from the spiritual dimension. 

2. About This Workshop

 Purification workshops are offered by Sri Centre International d.b.a. Chakra Institute. Workshop sessions are drawn from the teachings and recorded content of Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar, founder of the Chakra Institute. Sessions are managed and hosted by Institute staff and officers, and may include presentations by authorized guest speakers or instructors engaged by the Institute. All facilitation occurs on behalf of and under the authority of the Chakra Institute. 

3. Dietary Protocol & Inherent Risks

 The Purification protocol includes a structured dietary component developed within the framework of Microchakra Psychology. Participants are guided through dietary recommendations for approximately five days. There are various ways to follow the protocol and participants can choose and adjust to their needs. Each person's experience will be unique, and participants are encouraged to modify or discontinue any aspect of the protocol at any time based on their own comfort, health, and judgment. Please acknowledge that you understand: These dietary recommendations are based in Microchakra Psychology as developed by Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar, who was not a nutritionist or medical professional. Institute staff and presenters are likewise not trained nutritionists or medical professionals. These recommendations are not clinical nutrition advice. You know your own body and health history and should make any necessary changes to the protocol for your health, wellness, and safety. The potential risks include discomfort related to dietary changes. If at any time you feel too uncomfortable, please do not follow the protocol. If anything is too much of a restriction, try making a gradual reduction instead. It is also possible that the protocol may have no effect on you, as this has not been a proven treatment for any mental or health condition. Participants are responsible for understanding and complying with any health, dietary, or legal considerations applicable in their own country or jurisdiction. The Institute makes no representations regarding the legality or appropriateness of this protocol outside of the United States. I have consulted with my own healthcare provider to the extent I deemed appropriate before enrolling. I understand that nothing in this workshop is a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. If I experience acute distress at any point before, during, or after the workshop, I will contact a licensed medical or mental health professional, or in the United States, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. 

4. Recording & Future Use of Classes

 All classes are recorded. Recordings may be shared with enrolled participants and may be edited for use as future educational offerings or purchasable courses. The Chakra Institute will make reasonable efforts to protect participant privacy in edited recordings, though this cannot always be fully guaranteed. Please share only what you are comfortable with potentially being heard or seen beyond this group. If you have specific concerns, please contact the Institute before enrolling. By enrolling, I grant Sri Centre International d.b.a. Chakra Institute a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to record my voice, image, likeness, name, and contributions made during the workshop, and to use, edit, reproduce, distribute, and publicly display such recordings (and derivative works of them) in connection with this and future educational, instructional, or other offerings. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished use and any right of compensation in connection with it. 

5. Intellectual Property

 All workshop content, materials, and recordings — including the teachings, frameworks, archival content, and curriculum developed by Sri Shyamji Bhatnagar — are the intellectual property of Sri Centre International d.b.a. Chakra Institute. Participants may not record classes or reproduce, distribute, or share workshop materials in any form without prior written permission from the Institute. 

6. Registration Fees & Refund Policy

 All registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for any reason including but not limited to: •  Technical difficulties experienced by the participant •  Schedule conflicts, change of plans, or change of mind after registration •  Missed sessions or inability to attend portions of the workshop •  Health or personal circumstances arising after registration •  Dissatisfaction with content, outcomes, or any aspect of the workshop The sole exception: In the event the Institute cancels the entire workshop program, participants will receive a full refund or credit toward a future institute event at their discretion. Partial schedule changes, substitution of guest speakers, or technical issues affecting individual sessions do not constitute a program cancellation and do not trigger the refund policy. 

7. Agreement, Release & Acknowledgments

 I agree that my participation in this purification workshop is at my own risk. I recognize that engaging in dietary changes and movement is not without some risk. Please only participate in the level of physical exertion you know is safe for your body and health. In the event that I should require medical care or treatment, I accept that I am responsible to initiate any care needed or to cease any dietary protocol I believe is causing me health problems. I further agree to assume all costs involved and agree to be financially responsible for any costs incurred as a result of needed medical care. I acknowledge that not all risks of participation can be known in advance and voluntarily assume those risks. I enter into this agreement voluntarily and of my own free will. I HEREBY, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily enter into this WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY and hereby waive any and all rights, claims, or causes of action of any kind arising out of my participation in the purification workshop. I HEREBY release and forever discharge Sri Centre International d.b.a. Chakra Institute, its board of trustees, officers, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, independent contractors, authorized teachers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors, and assigns (collectively, "Releasees"), from any and all claims, liability, or physical or psychological injury of any kind that I may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the workshop. This release applies to claims based on negligence and other ordinary causes; it does not purport to release liability for gross negligence, willful or intentional misconduct, or any other liability that, as a matter of applicable law, may not be released or limited by agreement. I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE that Releasees are not responsible for errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any third party or individual conducting a specific session or activity on behalf of the Institute. I FURTHER AGREE to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Releasees against any and all claims, suits, or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation, or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney fees and any related costs. I represent that I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and have full legal capacity to enter into this agreement. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement or the workshop shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Yavapai County, Arizona, and I consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Both the participant and Sri Centre International d.b.a. Chakra Institute agree that this agreement is clear and unambiguous as to its terms, and that no other evidence shall be used or admitted to alter or explain the terms of this agreement, but that it will be interpreted based on the language in accordance with the purposes for which it is entered into. If any provision of this agreement is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the unenforceable provision shall be modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the parties' intent. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between me and Sri Centre International d.b.a. Chakra Institute with respect to the workshop and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous understandings, written or oral. I consent to executing this agreement electronically and agree that my electronic signature, including a checked box submitted through an online registration form, has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature under the federal E-SIGN Act and any applicable state law. 

Agreement & Registration

 Please read the full Participant Agreement & Release of Liability before completing registration. By checking the box in registration you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms of this agreement, including the release of liability, the nature of the dietary protocol, and the intellectual property terms.  You also agree that you understand understand this is a voluntary, educational, and spiritual workshop. You am at least 18 years of age and enter into this agreement of your own free will. 

This workshop is spiritual and educational in nature and is not a substitute for medical, nutritional, or mental health care.
